Hana: Authentic Japanese cuisine at reasonable prices

If in the Kuta-Legian area there are two of my favorite Japanese restaurant - ie Take and Bluefin - then in the Seminyak area there were two of my favorite Japanese restaurant. The one named Hana (means flower in Japanese), and the other is a Dahana.
How similar? Incidentally they were sisters from Japan. Hana's first stand. Dahana followed. Dahana "operation" of a house - complete with a small swimming pool - which turned into a restaurant, thus giving the impression homey, while Hana is more like the Japanese restaurant there. Since this type of cuisine and quality are very similar, especially because of its location too close together, we just choose whichever is more suitable atmosphere.
For me, when dining with his wife or family, surely the choice Dahana. But if just want to "touch-and-go" to feed themselves, then Hana is the right choice. Especially because there are a few around Hana's my favorite stores, such as Cafe Moka with special pastries, unique batik designs Milos (Italian), Nacha's Natural (aromatic products), periplus bookstore, and Obin (weaving and batik).
Some friends I ever ate legislation to Hana is always the same remark. "Why so cheap?" Especially after seeing the presentation and the flavor is authentic, then it is clear Hana has a special place for those who consider value for money and quality of the food above average. In contrast to Bluefin in Kuta the more high end.
In the appetizers, several choices include: agedashi tofu (fried tofu in a watery sauce, USD 16 thousand), tuna carpaccio (USD 32 thousand), cup, Mushi (USD 15 thousand), gyu tataki (roast beef, USD 29 thousand ), and sashimi (USD 49 thousand).
To menrui (various mi), the options are: Sōmen (thin noodles cold, USD 33 thousand), zaru soba (USD 33 thousand, my favorite), tempura, soba (USD 48 thousand), miso ramen (USD 58 thousand), hiyashi vinegar (USD 59 thousand).
Various agemono (fried food) which can be selected are: tempura moriawase (USD 42 thousand), ball furai ika (squid fried meatballs, USD 33 thousand), furai dried shrimp (fried shrimp with flour, USD 36 thousand), Chicken Katsu (USD 29 thousand ), and everything else. Tempura his top markotop!
When you prefer yakimono (grill), the options are: chicken teriyaki (USD 29 thousand), tuna / salmon teriyaki (USD 34 / 40 thousand), or blind shogayaki (USD 28 thousand). Because the portions are large enough, usually I do not order rice, but ordered a salad - such as wakame (seaweed) - so full, and stay healthy.
Fans of sushi and sashimi as well be content in Hana. Sushi and sashimi set sets the price enough to Rp 49 thousand only. For sashimi, because it is not accompanied by rice, can be added onigiri (rice wrapped nori, USD 16 thousand). Mak nyuss!
Conclusion: to eat four of them, just USD $ 300 thousand, and already full. In fact, if you want to be more frugal, just message gohanmono or Donburi (rice bowl with toppings on it, as oyako-don, Katsu-don, or sukiyaki-don), which only cost around USD 28-34 thousand. Jyu una only expensive (USD 88 thousand) for wearing a grilled eel imports. Worth a visit, right? (Bondan Winarno)
